COMPREHENSIVE CANCER THERAPY

Treating cancer successfully is a threefold process--physical, mental and spiritual. On the physical level, three things must be accomplished:

The body must be detoxified;
The malignancy must be eliminated;
The body must be regenerated and the deficient nutrients replaced.
While many factors play a role in causing cancer, the primary cause is toxemia. The toxins came from two sources--external and internal. The external poisons cane from cooked and refined foods, food additives, preservatives, pesticides, drugs, hormones, etc. The internal source of toxins in the body are the waste products of metabolism. Nature intended that these cellular wastes be continually cleansed from the body cells with raw fruits and vegetables, or their juices.

Detoxification (the internal cleansing of the body) can be accomplished slowly by changing to a diet of raw, organic fruits and vegetables and their juices or more quickly by also including detoxifying herbs, vitamins, minerals, etc., along with colonic irrigations and coffee enemas.

The various parts of this overall therapy fall into several categories:

I. Diet

II. Dietary supplements and herbs

III. The mental and spiritual side

IV Injectables

V. Clinics

The following diet is composed nearly entirely of foods which have individually exhibited anti-cancer properties. Try not to consume fruits and vegetables at the same meal. For the most part, fruits are taken earlier in the day and vegetables later on. Organic food is best. If you are unable to follow everything completely, do as much as you can anyway. The program can still work in most cases if it is substantially followed. The more you do, the better off you will be. Walter Ermer's booklet on cancer should be used along with the following.(1)

I. DIETARY NECESSITIES:

24 ounces of concord grape juice, preferably raw, sipped very slowly from about 8 to 11 a.m. (so that it is absorbed into the bloodstream instead of passing right through the body). In addition, concord grapes may be eaten. If unavailable, use black grapes or bottled concord grape Juice. For best results, Juice should be made with a Norwalk, K & K, or Champion Juicer. Results are poor with centrifugal juicers.
Four tablespoonfuls of blended asparagus puree (not raw) to be taken early in the morning and in the evening. Stokeley and Green Giant brands are fine.
In the afternoon and evening drink raw organic red beet Juice, preferably the lactic acid fermented Eden brand. Biotta brand is not fermented but is acceptable. If this can be supplemented with beet root tablets, so much the better. A more concentrated drink can also be made from the powder, such as Schonenberger’s Beetroot powder(29) or bulk red beet powder from some health food stores. Drink as much as desired, but at least 16 oz. a day. Biorandin concentrated beet Juice is also excellent.
Take 1½ teaspoonfuls of blackstrap molasses (such as Plantation brand) mixed with moderately hot water before each meal and before going to bed. If you wish, you may drink the water immediately after taking the molasses. Children should take half the dosage. In severe cases, five doses can be taken daily.
To greatly aid in the assimilation of food and nutrients, it is recommended that Willard Water Concentrate be mixed (1 oz. per gallon) with the water that you drink and/or mixed with your supplements, etc. The water should be as pure as possible, such as distilled or reverse osmosis water.(22)

It is VERY DESIRABLE to

eat 6 to 8 fresh violet leaves daily (the "common" variety).
eat at least 35 apricot kernels daily (throughout the day, not all at once) and eat some raw fruit with the kernels, in case the body is low in rhodanase. (Upset stomach after eating the kernels is a symptom of a rhodanase deficiency.) Eat seeds promptly if you grind them.(13)
Mucopolysaccharides are important. They are sold under the name of Neptone. In serious cases, take 1 capsule the first day and add 2 each day until you reach about 20 a day.
drink 8 oz. of black cherry Juice around noontime.
eat fresh papaya for lunch or during the afternoon. (Eight seeds a day may be chewed or ground up and used like pepper.)
After three or four weeks, take daily 4 oz. of cottage cheese blended well with 1½ oz. of flaxseed (preferably ground). Fresh fruit may be added, if desired.
drink wheatgrass Juice mixed in equal parts with apple Juice. Wheatgrass Juice may also be taken as a retaining enema. A wheatgrass Juicer is available from Sam Chang, Ventura, CA 800-444-4584, 805-649-5077. Sprouted wheat is also good.
drink cranberry Juice-at least 4 oz. daily, if urine pH is above 7.
take 8 oz. of Eden brand lactic acid fermented carrot Juice daily, or freshly squeezed carrot juice mixed with 2 teaspoonfuls of olive oil or some avocado. Frozen carrot Juice and frozen mixed vegetable Juice are available from some health food stores, such as Escondido brand. Parsley, spinach and celery Juices are also excellent.
Since cancer patients assimilate protein poorly, take free-form amino acid capsules, which are directly assimilated without protein poisoning.(3) This should prevent rapid weight loss and prevent death by starvation. For the first 4 or 5 days, a cancer patient should take 10 capsules five times a day or 13 capsules four times a day. After that, a woman should take 30 capsules a day and a man 35 capsules daily. (4) For additional protein, especially after 4 weeks of treatment, eat sprouted soy beans and/or sprouted alfalfa seeds. Sprouted mung beans contain amygdalin (laetrile). Whole bottom (living) liquid brewers yeast from Germany is also good. An excellent protein source for a cancer patient is lactic acid fermented cottage cheese. You can make your own from lactic acid tablets. Exercise is very important for cancer patients. In experiments, the average tumor in nonexercised rats grows 25 times as large as in exercised rats. Injecting muscle-fatigue toxins into animals actually retards tumor growth. Lactic acid is a by-product of exercise. Patients who exercise, work or play do much better than those who stay in bed.
Super Blue Green algae is excellent. It can be ordered from Cell Tech. Call 540-752-9511 for details. Sun Chlorella green single-cell algae (tablets or powder) is highly recommended. An alternative is Green Magma available at your health food store.
Take 1 tablespoon of cold pressed fresh flax seed oil three times a day, such as the organic Spectrum Naturals Veg Omega-3 brand from Spectrum Marketing, Inc., 133 Copeland St., Petaluma, CA 94952, 800-995-2705, www.spectrumnaturals.com.
The award winning Yang Magic 851 from China has enabled a high percentage of terminal bed-ridden cancer patients to walk within two days. It reinforces the immune system, and contains numerous micro nutrients and phytochemicals.(30)
For external cancers, breast cancer and cancer under the skin we recommend the Black & Yellow Salve, which draws the cancer out through the skin in most cases. (31)
NOTE:
Total raw Juice intake should NOT exceed thirteen 8 oz. glasses daily. Do not force the Juice down. Add 1 tablespoonful of the Gerson potassium solution to each glass. The solution, also called Triple Potassium, can be obtained, with a doctor's written prescription. (2) Also, you can make it yourself by buying the purest ingredients from a chemical supply house, such as Fisher or J. T. Baker, etc.

II. Dietary supplements and herbs. These are virtual NECESSITIES.

Enzymes:
Pancreatic enzymes trypsin and chymotrypsin, such as contained in Hale's Super CLP, a multiple digestive enzyme tablet. On an empty stomach, take 4 tablets on arising, 4 tablets around 11:30 a.m., 4 tablets around 2:30 p.m., 4 tablets before bedtime and 4 more tablets if the patient happens to wake up in the middle of the night (perhaps 2 to 4 a.m.). One or 2 tablets can also be taken with meals to aid digestion and reduce toxic undigested food. Do not take Laetrile and pancreatic enzymes within 2 hours of each other. Be sure to alternate the enzyme formula every three weeks. (5)
Bromelain digests the outer wall of the cancer cell and is available under the brand name of "Ananase" as a prescription item from William H. Rorer, Inc. (6) Take four times a day (or 600 mg. total). Cheaper brands are available at many health food stores. (7)
Trypsin, chymotrypsin and bromelain are available from the Enzymatic Therapy Co. under the brand name Megazymes. Call 800-783-2286.
Digest-a-meal Enzyme Accelerator is a fantastic product which detoxifies, repairs free radical damages, etc. It can be ordered from Infinity2 Distribution by calling 800-571-1221, ext. 3410 or 800-572-0501 and giving them the I.D. #9318933. They also sell another extraordinary product called Life Force Super Antioxidant. (Ask them how to save 30% by becoming a distributor.)

Detoxification:
Fo-Ti-Tieng, which contains Gotu-Kola (hydrocotyle asiatica), Colan nut and Meadowsweet. Gotu-Kola is available from various herb companies.
The Clark herbal remedies stop the advance of cancer within five days by killing the parasites in the body. Order from drclarkia.com. Dr. Clark’s book is available from us. (10)
Another very outstanding herbal remedy is pycnogenol, available from Kaire International. You can buy the product at half price by calling 877-603-1710 if you give them the I.D. *11635 and become a distributor at no additional cost.
Chlorophyll tablets-60 mg. three times daily. (27) (Also available in liquid form.)
Silicon mineral tablets-up to 6 a day. (27) If unavailable, use diatomaceous earth tablets.
Colloidal Silver destroys bacteria, viruses, fungi, germs and all disease-causing one-celled organisms. It is available in 4 oz. bottles for $14 by calling Trimedica, 1-800-800-8849.
Deturge to clean out the impacted putrefied material from the intestinal walls. (9)
Nutri-peplan to help clean out the liver. (27)
Pau D'Arco (also called Ipe Roxo) and Aveloz.(28) Pau D'Arco can usually be found in health food stores.
A good brand of ginseng, preferably a formula where many different types of ginseng-related roots are blended. If this cannot be obtained, use the Russian liquid ginseng, Eleuthercoocus senticosus. Ginseng should not be eaten raw.
For cleaning out the intestinal tract and for whole body detoxification, etc., take the herb tablets, Nu-tri-one and Nu-tri-lax. (27) If this herbal combination is not used, it is recommended that the Hoxsey herbal formula be used.(12) Malva (mallow) and aloe vera are also valuable.
Compound X, an American Indian herbal formula, is useful for many diseases, including cancer. (It is used internally and externally.) (30)
The original Jason Winters Herbal Tea is recommended.(8) Essiac is another excellent product(11), but Flor-Essence is the improved version of Essiac with added ingredients. It can be found in health food stores.
Cat's Claw, an excellent immune enhancer from the Peruvian rainforests, is available from health food stores.
Coffee enemas, as described by Dr. Max Gerson, are very effective in detoxifying the body and eliminating pain, by causing the liver to expel toxic wastes. Colonic irrigations are desirable to cleanse old putrefied wastes from the colon.
Bentonite absorbs toxins and therefore is also very important in detoxifying. It is sold under the name of Vit-Ra-Tox *16(18) and also from the Sonne company.
To assist detoxification, a diathermy treatment over the liver after ingesting detoxifying herbs and other liver cleansers will result in a good elimination from the liver. Castor oil packs over the liver area may also help. A liver gall bladder flush may also be desirable. (22)
Vitamins:
take 750 to 1000 mg. of Vitamin C., preferably in the form of potassium ascorbate, six to nine times daily or 300 mg. to 500 mg. hourly; 600 to 900 mg. of Vitamin E daily, taken in the dry or emulsified form, perhaps on arising, at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.; 300,000 I.U. of Vitamin A (preferably the dry kind) daily for 15 days, then 100,000 I.U. for 15 days, and 25,000 I.U. daily thereafter; 1000 mg. of choline daily; RNA tablets are valuable; take plenty of niacin; and one Vitamin D tablet daily.
Take 50 mg. of Vitamin B-15 (calcium pangamate) after each meal and at bedtime. (2) The injectable form (pangamic acid) seems to be more effective. Calcium orotate (Vitamin B-13).(7) Zinc orotate is also recommended. Zinc is needed for enzyme production.

Vitamin B-17 (amygdalin).(13) A daily dosage of 1000 to 3000 mg. is generally recommended for cancer patients.
Vitamin B-17 is also available in the injectable form, as an ointment, in capsules, as eyedrops, etc. (13)
There has never been a reported case of cancer among thousands of people who eat apricot kernels every day: 15 kernels daily for prevention and at least 35 kernels daily for patients. CAUTION: If you grind them, eat immediately to avoid possible side effects.
Minerals:
Lugol solution (take half the Gerson dosage) and Dr. Gerson's potassium solution, generally on prescription. The potassium solution is very important.(2) In fact, the entire Gerson therapy is very effective.(14)
Randal’s powdered Norwegian kelp, up to 2 teaspoonfuls daily. No other kelp has checked out to be completely free of toxic factors. Or take ½ oz. of dulse daily after washing off the salt. Dulse is the richest known source of potassium and is very rich in trace minerals. One excellent brand is Atlantic Mariculture Ltd., bulk dulse, available at health food stores.(15)
Take 1500 to 2000 micrograms of organic selenium daily. Amplified Selenium brand is best.(7)
Intestinal flora:
Lactobacillus bifidus, available as Fugalan Forte brand(2).
Lactobacillus acidolphilus three times daily with meals.(16)
Take 800 mg. of lecithin in tablet form three times daily. Never take lecithin in liquid form.
Comfrey-pepsin capsules and a digestant tablet containing betaine hydrochloride, etc., such as zypan.(17)
For leukemia, add 4 to 6 Greenlife "Vit-ra-tox *22-Plain" tablets(18) three times daily and 6 to 8 bone marrow tablets three times daily.(18) A doubling of chlorophyll-containing juices and supplements is also beneficial.
At least eight 7½ grain desiccated liver tablets daily.

III. The mental and spiritual side.

Faith, confidence, positive thinking, an intense desire to get well, cooperation, and a calm spiritual attitude and trust in God are of the utmost importance.

Carl Simonton, M.D., has found that the patient's mental attitude can influence the body's immune system to retard and reverse the progress of cancer. The treatment consists of relaxation, meditation, and mental imagery processes to be practiced for 10 to 15 minutes three times daily.

The patient closes his eyes and relaxes completely and mentally pictures his disease as it seems to him. He visualizes the cancer as an identifiable mental object, while visualizing the body's immune mechanism which can conquer the cancer. The white blood cells are pictured as coming in and picking up the dead and dying cancer cells and carrying them away. The individual attaches his own symbols to the cancer cells and the white blood cells by visualizing images which are appropriate for him, such as white, hungry husky dogs or knights in shining armor spearing one cancer cell after another on their lances. The patient perceives himself as being well.

Dr. Simonton's book, Getting well Again, is strongly recommended.(19) Since the Simonton method can extend life by nearly two years, on the average, when destructive orthodox treatments are used, think how much more valuable the method would be when nontoxic procedures are used.

Attitude, cooperation, and the emotional, psychological and spiritual background of the patient have a lot to do with recovery. A European practitioner, using nontoxic methods, told us that he had never lost a patient who really wanted to live.

All diseases will respond to mental and spiritual processes. The spiritual side of man is intertwined with his physical and mental health. It doesn't matter what your religion is. Even atheists can be spiritually healed. Sometimes nonbelievers have miraculous experiences because they need them the most. These methods work and a true scientist should be interested in results.

The late Rev. Dr. Benn E. Lewis of Washington, D.C., stated that one should constantly affirm his own healing and never cease. He suggested using this very powerful affirmation:

The God within is now healing me. (Repeat 3 times)

The God within is now protecting me. (Repeat 3 times)

The God within is now showing me the way. (Repeat 3 times)

And also the God without. (Repeat 3 times)

And I am grateful.

Dr. Lewis pointed out that the pineal gland in the center of the head is the seat of consciousness and that the individual should address this gland as follows:

"Pineal gland, you do respond to thought impression. I command you to activate the pituitary gland that controls my body. Please direct the Christ Love and healing power to all parts of my body that need healing." Dr. Lewis said that if each person were to command his body as a loving Lord sympathetically giving orders to a beloved servant, three quarters of human maladies would vanish overnight. He was inspired to further state that if the human race would but accept that there is no physical malady that cannot be cured by the proper correlation of spiritual dictates and mental responses, there would never be such a thing as ill health in the universe.”

He also recommended the following prayer: "Father in spirit, Thy will, not mine, be done in this matter (state the problem) and I am grateful for whatever happens. I leave all my affairs in Thy loving and tender care." Rev. Lewis painted a picture of Jesus called "The Healing Christ" which has protected and healed many people including cancer patients, who have been healed instantaneously in some cases. One woman was healed in a hospital when her roommate placed a copy of the picture under the woman's pillow, without her knowledge. Don't underestimate the power that can act through this picture. (24)
